Liztox is a peripheral muscle relaxant that contains highly-purified clostridium botulinum toxin type A.
Due to inhibition of signaling between muscles and motor nerves, the product acts as a myorelaxant. Intramuscular administration of the toxin disrupts the synthesis of acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter that ensures neuromuscular conduction) and leads to temporary paralysis of the facial muscles. Injecting at the recommended intervals of 2-6 months , the product effectively prevents formation of new folds.

DURATION OF EFFECTS
